We’ve already arrived at our last excursie this year: our famous bird excursion!

On the 13th of June 18.30 we will meet at Landje van Geijsel for a nice picknick, an evening full of beautifull birds and ofcourse, your fellow Gyrini. What else can you whish for? Experienced biologist who will guide you during this free activity? Say no more, we got this.

Cocktail borrel

[:nl]Yes, you see it right: after 2 whole years without the Cocktail borrel, this fantastic borrel will finally makes its return! As this is all organized by the Gyrinus women, it will be an evening to never forget! We will make sure that the food is good and the drinks are delightful.
At the 15th of June, from 17:00-22:00, you can expect an evening where everything will be pink, where the drinks will flow and of course the mr. Gyrinus 2022 will be announced!

Pure Music

Want to enjoy a night of live music without buying tickets and expensive drinks? Then Pure Music is just for you! Featuring performances from several bands and local talents, you can immerse yourself in some lovely tunes for free.

On May 18th this wonderful evening will start at 17:00 in the Tuinzaal (WN-V002) and you donโ€™t want to miss it. Whether itโ€™s singing along to your favorite song or losing yourself in a shredding guitar solo, youโ€™re bound to have a good time at Pure Music if you are a music enthusiast.

And, as every year, the misters Gyrinus of 2022 will be nominated, which is always a great spectacle!

So, mark the date in your agenda and then weโ€™ll see you!

The Study Trip to Lisboa is nearing and the Studiereiscie still needs your support! For this reason, we organized two actvities for you: the Cocktail Workshop on the 15th of March and the Snack Lunch on the 16th of March!

  • The Cocktail Workshop includes a lesson of 3 cocktails, which you of course can drink afterwards. This will be 12,- and takes place in De Tegenstelling (WN-D103) from 18:30-21:30. Sign yourself up via gyrinus.nk/cocktailworkshop!
  • The Snack Lunch will cost you 2,- per snack (incl. bun) and takes place in the Gyrinus Room (WN-P022) from 12:30-13:30.

School is in full swing, which can be fun but can also add stress and problems. Instead of running away from all your problems, grab your favorite running shoes and run away with the Sportcie in the 50th BATAVIERENRACE! It takes place on the 29th and 30th of April and de 1st of May, where we will run from Nijmegen to Enschede. After the finish you will feel like a true hero and will be rewarded with a drink at the biggest student party of all time. So be sure to sign up quickly at gyrinus.nl/bata!!!

werewolves are drawing nigh. Is it you, your friend or one of your other โ€œinnocentโ€ colleagues? Who
knows? How many will fall until the werewolves are done feasting? Eliminate the hungry beasts and
save the village.
But wait, not every innocent villager is as simple as they seem. Some might shoot, curse or make
others fall in love whilst the mystery remains unsolved. Are you up to the task and will you save the
town of Millerโ€™s Hollow?

Come and join the Spelcie on Wednesday the 17th for a classic game of Werewolves! There is going

Lustrum of De Tegenstelling

On the 11th of March it is FINALLY time for the Lustrum of our beloved Tegenstelling!
Together with our fellow Gyrini, employees and alumni we will celebrate that over the past 30 years we have all been able to come together in our lovely bar and have a chat, a laugh, and obviously drink some Budels.
The Lustrumcie of the Alcoholaat has prepared a magical evening for all of you.
Do you also want to be there and toast together to our beautiful bar? If you signed up for the 3rd of December, you received an email with further details.
You can sign up already for dinner. Gyrinus and Il Caffรจ provided a delicious meal for you, so make sure to sign up: gyrinus.nl/foodlustrum! There are limited places available for dinner, so do this quickly!

Op dinsdag 1 maart organiseert Gyrinus natans weer een medewerkersborrel. Nu de Tegenstelling (D-103) weer open mag zijn wij verheugd om jullie weer te mogen verwelkomen in onze geliefde bar. Daarom zijn alle medewerkers van de faculteit der Bรจtawetenschappen van harte uitgenodigd om te komen borrelen van 17:00 tot ongeveer 20:00 uur. Wij zullen zorgen voor wat hapjes en natuurlijk ook drankjes. Hopelijk zien we jullie allemaal op 1 maart!

Hally Ball Tournament 2022

Since the Tegenstelling closed, we know you havenโ€™t been drinking a lot. Or even worse, you stopped drinking at all. The Alcoholaat knows that you feel bad about that. And because you feel bad about your lack of alcohol consumption, you have some catching up to do! Now I hear you thinking: how am I ever going to catch this up? Donโ€™t stress, because weโ€™ve come up with the best option ever โ€ฆ drum roll … a Hally Ball tournament! Yes, you heard it correctly! And don’t even worry about running out of beer because you’re dealing with the Alcoholaat here ๐Ÿ˜‰
Alright, let’s get the facts straight:
On the 19th of February (2 pm) @ Uilenstede, the Alcoholaat will host the most epic Hally Ball tournament of 2022, and you most definitely DONโ€™T want to miss this!
