De Kandidatencie bestaat uit 5 leden, die meestal zelf in het bestuur hebben gezeten. De Kandidatencie geeft voorlichtingen aan leden die in het bestuur van Gyrinus natans willen, en stelt uit de aanmeldingen een kandidaatsbestuur samen. Dit kandidaatsbestuur wordt vervolgens voorgesteld op Kandidaats ALV.
