School is in full swing, which can be fun but can also add stress and problems. It takes place on the 29th and 30th of April and de 1st of May, where we will run from Nijmegen to Enschede. Werewolves

[:nl]Aahhwoooooo! Full moon rising, the cold air and the silent nights. They’re coming. The bloodthirsty
werewolves are drawing nigh. Is it you, your friend or one of your other “innocent” colleagues? Who
knows? How many will fall until the werewolves are done feasting? Eliminate the hungry beasts and
save the village.
But wait, not every innocent villager is as simple as they seem. Some might shoot, curse or make
others fall in love whilst the mystery remains unsolved. Are you up to the task and will you save the
town of Miller’s Hollow?

Come and join the Spelcie on Wednesday the 17th for a classic game of Werewolves! There is going
to be a lot of mystery and of course drinks! Sign up now through the link or you can join us on the

Lustrum of De Tegenstelling

On the 11th of March it is FINALLY time for the Lustrum of our beloved Tegenstelling!
Together with our fellow Gyrini, employees and alumni we will celebrate that over the past 30 years we have all been able to come together in our lovely bar and have a chat, a laugh, and obviously drink some Budels.
The Lustrumcie of the Alcoholaat has prepared a magical evening for all of you.
Do you also want to be there and toast together to our beautiful bar? If you signed up for the 3rd of December, you received an email with further details.
You can sign up already for dinner. Gyrinus and Il Caffè provided a delicious meal for you, so make sure to sign up: gyrinus.nl/foodlustrum! There are limited places available for dinner, so do this quickly!

Op dinsdag 1 maart organiseert Gyrinus natans weer een medewerkersborrel. Nu de Tegenstelling (D-103) weer open mag zijn wij verheugd om jullie weer te mogen verwelkomen in onze geliefde bar. Daarom zijn alle medewerkers van de faculteit der Bètawetenschappen van harte uitgenodigd om te komen borrelen van 17:00 tot ongeveer 20:00 uur. Wij zullen zorgen voor wat hapjes en natuurlijk ook drankjes. Hopelijk zien we jullie allemaal op 1 maart!

Hally Ball Tournament 2022

Since the Tegenstelling closed, we know you haven’t been drinking a lot. Or even worse, you stopped drinking at all. The Alcoholaat knows that you feel bad about that. And because you feel bad about your lack of alcohol consumption, you have some catching up to do! Now I hear you thinking: how am I ever going to catch this up? Don’t stress, because we’ve come up with the best option ever … drum roll … a Hally Ball tournament! Yes, you heard it correctly! And don’t even worry about running out of beer because you’re dealing with the Alcoholaat here 😉
Alright, let’s get the facts straight:
On the 19th of February (2 pm) @ Uilenstede, the Alcoholaat will host the most epic Hally Ball tournament of 2022, and you most definitely DON’T want to miss this! Even though the Netherlands is a prosperous country there are still almost one million people who struggle to make ends meet. Every week the Food Bank provides 40.000 food packs to these people to combat poverty as well as food waste. Do you want to help these people in need? Then join us on the 15th of February from 11:00 to 14:00 at Albert Heijn Gelderlandplein to collect food for the Food Bank! Semi-Annual General Members’ Meeting

On Tuesday, February 8th, the Semi-Annual General Members Meeting of Gyrinus natans will take place. The General Members Meeting will commence at 5:00 pm. It will take place at the VU, at HG-08A20
The GMM is a way to gain more insight into the current state of the association. We hope to see as many of you as possible there.

Valentine Scavenger Hunt

Mourning that there will be no Gyrinus Christmas dinner and no Christmas scavenger hunt? Don’t! Feestcie came up with an amazing Valentine Scavenger Hunt, so you still can have fun and drinks with your LOVELY Gyrini. Get your friends together to have a fun game night and maybe find a lover in Gyrinus!
 
The event will take place on the 4th of February from 7 pm till 11 pm at Amsterdamse Bos. The ticket price will be around 2-4 euros. Do not forget to bring a thermos for delicious hot chocolate with rum and/or some rose to keep you and your fellow Gyrini valentine warm.
