As the Actcie we are in charge of organising the volunteering events for the members of Gyrinus Natans. From our annual Vondelpark clean-up to writing Christmas cards for the elderly to fundraising activities such as jewelry making, we strive to help everyone make a difference where they think it matters most. Being part of the Actcie gives you extra input into where our volunteering efforts are channeled - are you passionate about improving the lives of children who are sick? Then you have the chance to organise something like our retinoblastoma dag where we help support a day of fun for children as well as raise awareness. We are a committee devoted to the promotion of goodwill and humanitarianism and it is always great to see how even in stressful or challenging times people are willing to give something for others in need. As a committee, we also enjoy getting to know each other more and have fun on our committing outings such as bowling and laser tag. Over the years we have evolved to be a valuable contribution to Gyrinus Natans and we hope to continue this trajectory and help make the world a bit better together.
